This hardened steel nozzle from Phaetus is designed to process even very abrasive/abrasive filaments. It keeps its original inner hole circle over longer use than normal nozzels. The use of carbon, steel, wood, boron carbide, tungsten and phosphorescent filaments is thus possible over longer periods of use with the same pressure.
Through certain manufacturing techniques it has been managed that there is no burr at the end of the nozzle. Furthermore, no deposits can be found in the hole. With a very fine surface roughness of Ra0.4, the filament is guided through better and is less likely to stick to the nozzle inside.
Production tolerances are very precise with this nozzle, which means that 3D prints are very fine and precise. The use of technical plastics such as PEEK is possible due to the high heat resistance of 450C.
